Wicker Park Winter Engagement Session

Christina and Drew made their way from Indiana to capture their engagement session in Chicago’s Wicker Park.  When we chatted about the “feel” of their images they were looking for something with more of a neighborhood vibe.  Wicker Park is a location that’s trendy, accessible and offering a variety of scenes in a small area.  All of the images you’ll see below are in just a two block radius of each other.

Their love story actually started at a mutual friends wedding.  Both Christina and Drew were recently single and not necessarily looking for anything serious but the timing was serendipitous and the rest was history.  This isn’t the first time we’ve ventured into this area for an engagement session, here’s one of my personal favorite images at Stan’s Donuts from a couple years ago.  Each time I head to a location that’s familiar, the goal is always to capture something new.
