Veronica and Matthew – Horsing Around
Veronica and Matthew were married back in the late fall of 2013. It was a bit cold ad far on the day of their wedding to head out to the farm of Veronica’s grandmother for portraits. So instead we waited until it was a bit warmer to complete their portraits! We met up way out west in Rochelle, IL and had a beautiful golden sunset to shoot through. This was my first time photographing a bride around horses and I learned quickly that horses aren’t shy and they enjoy nibbling on wedding dresses. So instead of battling the elements of rain or heat, we had to constantly defend the dress from being eaten right off of Veronica. Clearly she had good “taste” when she picked out her dress. Gotta love horse humor.
