There’s nothing like having a wedding during winter break if you’re a teacher which both Bari and Scott are! In fact that’s how they met. Scott told me that he knew from the first moment he saw Bari that she was the one. Bari on the other hand took a bit more time than Scott but ultimately they ended up together!

Their wedding ceremony and reception took place at the Westin O’hare. The great thing about having such a large venue is that you can make it your own in terms of decore. Their ceremony and reception were in the same hall which the crew was able to flip during the cocktail hour. The ceremony lighting really focused all of the attention to the huppah and illuminated them beautifully.

The reception began right away with a bang. As the bridal party was introduced the horah and dancing began immediately and there was never a dull moment. I tell every client that no matter the venue or who you have helping you put your wedding together, the most important thing is to make it your own. As a photographer I bring the gear and experience while you bring the fun and excitement. In this case, Bari brought the funk and Scott brought the Nike branded gear. You’ll see his patented bouquet dunk below as he flies through the air like Jordan.
