Time flies when you’re having fun. Their engagement session flew by and the same went for the wedding of Sarah and Tanya! This time we left the drum set at home and instead grabbed our bouquets and hit the streets of Chicago! Our day began and ended at the Wyndham Grand Chicago. Normally when I got up to the bridal suite, I get photos of the details. And one of the first details I noticed was a humorous little set of cards with some sound marital advice. (See the first image below)
Now if you’re having a wedding in the downtown area of Chicago, here’s some tips that could make you wedding day run much smoother. If there are certain must have scenic spots that you want to capture, but they are further away from your venue, try going to those locations either for your engagement session or schedule a trash the dress session with your photographer on a future date. This will allow you to stay local on the day of the wedding and pass on getting a limo or bus!
We covered a several block radius and lucked out with a beautiful day that was also nice and cool. So Sarah and Tanya didn’t object too much when I made them climb all over the place including the inner railing of a draw bridge. But alas, as with most portrait sessions, we had to wrap up just as quickly as we began and head off to their ceremony!
