Greetings 2012! We’ll kick off the year with a brief portrait session I had with Shannon. Shannon arrived at the studio all pepped and ready to go! We started off with some basic portrait shots initially on a white backdrop. I typically like to shoot on colored or dark backdrops so here I thought I would leap from my comfort zone and step into the world of lighter backdrops. After a few shots, we tried another outfit and then Shannon pulled out a mask that she had brought along with her. Instantly the idea popped in my mind to use ribbon which I raced off to find in one of the closets. So we wrapped her up, put on the mask and got a few cool shots of her wearing the ribbon and the mask. We had a blast!
