Day 1 – Theory and Dialing In Image Capture

Theory //
Psychology of visual perception
⁃ Image storytelling by using details and dynamics
⁃ Contrast: In depth look at light, color, shape, dynamics ect.
⁃ The world of dimension — highlights and shadows
⁃ Depth: linear and tonal perspective.
⁃ Creativity: from simple to complex.
⁃ Composing and its basic rules.

Practice //
⁃ Choosing the right photo equipment, camera and lens for capturing optimal RAW images for edit.
⁃ Working with the light: original lighting schemes for various conditions, regardless of
weather.
⁃ Artificial light – mastering flash, flash with a softbox, flash with a reflector, video
lighting. Mixed lighting outdoors and indoors.
⁃ Posing for models – original theatrical and artistic poses.
⁃ Choosing the perfect location and composition for the photo session, capturing scenes
and details for future composite / creative work.

Day 2 – Theory and practice of advanced post production

Full image editing day from day 1
⁃ Compositing basic principals and and components.
⁃ Lighting elements: flare, illumination, romantic and magical elements.
⁃ Adding visual effects for setting atmosphere and mood of the image including: rain,
snow, smoke, fire, leaves, petals, fabrics, ribbons and other flying elements.
⁃ Depth and airiness of the images.
⁃ Color grading / pulling final image look together.
⁃ Getting the image ready for presenting on web.
All of the participants will be provided with the Certificate of attendance.
