Sometimes you see a couple that’s so comfortable with each other and to interact with that the best way to describe it is “good times”. Independence Grove is where they had their ceremony and reception. Extra bonus for us was that we had a nice big golf cart and driver assigned to us for the portrait session before the ceremony. Considering the large size of Independence Grove, I was very thankful for this as I’m sure were Kim and Kevin. We hopped in the golf cart and took a bit of time to ride around and get some portraits. At the end of the evening I noticed a fireplace off in the corner of their reception hall and I asked the manager if he could turn it on for us…end of June with high temps and I’m asking to heat the place up a bit more! But they were kind enough to do so and we caught a number of fun portraits in front of the fireplace. Kevin truly was a champ for being in his full tux and sitting just a few feet away from the flames in the middle of the summer!
